The District does not currently have a pending bond election.

The next election for the District will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The location(s) of the polling places at which the election shall be conducted will be posted upon determination.

Deadline for Filing for Candidacy

The deadline to file an application for a place on the May 2, 2026 General Election Ballot is Friday, February 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

• The first day that such application may be filed is Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
• The last day to file a Declaration of Write-In Candidacy is Tuesday, February 17, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications for Office

To be eligible to be a candidate for the position of Director, a person must:

1. Be at least 18 years old;
2. Be a resident citizen of the State of Texas; and
3. Either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District.

Para ser elegible para ser candidato al cargo de Director, es obligatorio:
