Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 134E (the “District”) requests that all water users within its boundaries voluntarily reduce their water usage effective immediately.

The District has sustained damage due to Hurricane Beryl at the water treatment plant and is currently undergoing emergency repairs.

The District will continue to monitor water use and will provide another notice once conservation is no longer needed.

Freezing temperatures forecasted. Make sure all outside water connections are insulated. Turn off irrigation system. Use Google for further information on how to prepare outside connections for freeze.

Christmas and New Year’s are on a Monday this year, so there will not be any collection on both of those days. Service will resume on Thursday, 12/28/2023, for trash. Recycle will run as normal on 12/28/2023.

Service will resume on Thursday, 1/4/2024, for trash. Recycle will run as normal on 1/4/2024. We ask that residents be patient in the pick-up process on 12/28/2023 and 01/04/2024, as trash service trucks may run late that day. We ask that everything be placed at the curb by 7 a.m.

The District does not currently have a pending bond election.

The next election for the District will be held on May 4, 2024.
