Note to Residents of Eagle Landing

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 399’s (the “District”) current trash provider, GFL Environmental / WCA (“GFL”), will conduct its final day of trash pickup and will collect all trash cans that have been supplied by GFL to the District’s residents. Please ensure that your GFL trash can is on the curb for collection on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

The District’s new trash provider, Best Trash, will deliver new trash cans on Thursday, October 27, 2022, or Friday, October 28, 2022. Best Trash will collect trash for the first time on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, using the new trash cans provided by Best Trash. Trash will continue to be collected on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Stage 1 of Drought Contingency Plan

The Central Harris County Regional Water Authority (the “CHCRWA”) has now implemented Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan.

As a participant of the CHCRWA, Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 399 (the “District”) is implementing Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan (DCP) immediately. As a result, the District’s customers are asked to restrict the use of water for irrigation purposes to the hours between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the two designated watering days for each address (Sunday/Thursday for addresses ending in an even number, and common areas including esplanades and sports fields; Saturday/Wednesday for addresses ending in an odd number).

Stage 1 restrictions are voluntary but the District’s operator is closely monitoring the situation to determine whether additional restrictions should be implemented or these restrictions should be removed. Notification of any changes will be provided at the time of that change.

DISTRICT NOTIFICATIONS

The District has implemented an email and text alert system for the residents of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 399. This system is designed to keep you informed of issues related to the District in a quick and timely manner.
