Harris County MUD No. 421’s Board of Directors has implemented Stage 2 of the District’s Drought Contingency Plan, effective August 27th and continuing until a similar notice is provided that the implementation has been lifted.  

The goal is a 10% reduction in the use of all water use at this time. Please conserve water daily under the following guidelines.  

  1. District customers are requested to reduce all water usage.
  2. Check for and repair all leaks, including sprinkler systems, leaky faucets, and/or running toilets.
  3. All outdoor water use should be avoided between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
  4. Customers with even-numbered addresses (or north and west side of streets) should limit outdoor water usage, including yard watering, to even-numbered days.
  5. Customers with odd-numbered addresses (or south and east side of streets) should limit outdoor water usage, including yard watering, to odd-numbered days.

DISTRICT NOTIFICATIONS

The District has implemented an email and text alert system for the residents of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 421. This system is designed to keep you informed of issues related to the District in a quick and timely manner.
