Elections – Bonds

The District does not currently have a pending bond election.

Elections – Supervisors

The next Supervisors Election for Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 4B will be held on May 2, 2026. The location(s) of the election will be posted once determined.

The first day to file for a place on the General Election Ballot is Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The last day to file for a place on the General Election Ballot is Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

The Order Calling Supervisors Election and Official Notice will be posted when available.

Supervisor candidacy filing requirements are as follows:
To run for election to the District’s Board of Supervisors, a person must file an application for a place on the ballot. The application for a place on the General Election Ballot can be found on the Texas Secretary of State website at: https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/pol-sub/2-55f.pdf

Potential supervisors must own land subject to taxation inside the district’s boundaries AND reside in the state [Water Code Sections 51.072 and 55.102].
